Stuart M. Maples

Founder/Managing Partner
Stuart M. Maples founded Maples Law Firm, PC in 2008. As the managing partner of the firm, Stuart has been helping northern Alabama residents manage any and all legal matters related to business and bankruptcy law since he graduated from the University of Alabama School of Law in 1986. Stuart is also a registered civil mediator with the Alabama Center for Dispute resolution, and currently serves as president on the Mental Health Board in Huntsville.

Deanna S. Smith

Attorney Deanna S. Smith received her J.D. from St. Mary’s University School of Law in 2001 after graduating with a B.S. from the University of Alabama in 1996. Soon after she was appointed staff attorney for Justice Harold F. See of the Alabama Supreme Court, before eventually joining Maples Law Firm, PC in 2008. Since then, Deanna has served the firm by focusing on commercial litigation, appellate litigation, real estate litigation, commercial bankruptcy, and other areas of business law.

Mary Ena Heath

Mary Ena Heath joined Maples Law Firm, PC in 2017 to help the firm carry out their vision of a small boutique firm that delivers personalized attention to every individual client. Mary received her undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama in 1977 before going on to earn a Masters in Education in 1978. After a fulfilling career in education, Mary eventually decided to go back to school, earning her law degree from the University of Alabama School of Law in 1990. Since then she has been practicing law while also teaching a course in Business Legal Studies at the University of Alabama in Huntsville.
